  4. later years, it is just as inevitably, "the office". Thus we conclude our brief course on proper
  5. etiquette by investigating these two situations, so separated in time and yet so fundamentally
  6. similar in essence. In school, you must heedlessly and selfishly cater to the needs of teachers; in
  7. the office, merely substitute the words "higher-ups." In school, your classmates will generally try
  8. to undercut your progress, make fun of you and steal your best ideas for their own betterment; in
  9. the office, merely substitute the words, "fellow workers." In such grim surroundings, it is vitally
  10. important that you let only the truest sense of etiquette guide your every thought and action right
  11. up to graduation or retirement......
